Op. Dr. Yusuf Acar

About Me:

Op. Dr. Yusuf Acar was born in Adana in 1980. He started his education at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (English), and in 2005, he received his Medical Doctor title. He began his specialization in the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Department at Dicle University. During his specialization, he worked intensively on reconstructive microsurgery, which is his special interest. In 2007-2008, he performed a rotation in the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Department at Istanbul University to increase his knowledge and experience. After receiving the title of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist, he completed his compulsory service at Atatürk State Hospital between 2011-2013.
Op. Dr. Yusuf Acar, who is married and has a daughter and a son, has hobbies that include tennis, hiking, swimming, reading, cycling, and riding a motorcycle.
Op. Dr. Yusuf Acar is a member of the Turkish Medical Association. In 2013, while continuing his studies on ischemia-reperfusion injury, his work, “A Comparison of the Effects of Epidural and Spinal Anesthesia with Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury on the Rat Transverse Rectus Abdominus Musculocutaneous Flap,” was published in the Annals of Plastic Surgery journal. Dr. Acar worked at Mersin State Hospital and Mersin City Hospital respectively between 2013-2020, spent a short time at Ümraniye Education and Research Hospital in 2020, and started working in his private clinic as of October 2020. Dr. Acar has performed approximately 500 surgical operations in various clinics and has collaborated with renowned surgeons.
