What MAYCLINIK does

MAYCLINIK is a licensed health tourism facilitator. We help international patients find a suitable doctor and hospital in Türkiye and organise their trip: the medical assessment, appointments, transfers, accommodation, interpreting and contact during aftercare.

We are not a hospital and do not provide medical treatment ourselves. Treatments are carried out by independent, licensed doctors in accredited hospitals we have contracts with. The doctor and the hospital are responsible for your medical care.

Information only, no medical advice

The content of this website is general information. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation, and it does not replace a consultation with a doctor. Please also read our Medical Disclaimer.

Using the website, sending a form, chatting with us or writing to us on WhatsApp does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Only a doctor who has examined you or assessed your medical information can decide whether a treatment is suitable for you.

Treatment agreements are separate

If you decide to have treatment, the terms are set out in separate written documents: your agreement with MAYCLINIK for our facilitation services, and the agreements and consent forms of the hospital and the doctor. For your treatment, those documents take precedence over these terms of use.

Prices and quotes

Prices, packages and examples shown on the website are for general guidance only and are not an offer. A price only becomes binding when we send you a written quote after a doctor has assessed your case. The quote states what is included, how long it is valid and the payment terms.

If the doctor’s examination in Türkiye shows that the treatment plan needs to change, any change in price will be explained to you before treatment.

Accuracy of the information

We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, and our medical articles are reviewed by doctors. However, medical knowledge changes, and we cannot guarantee that every piece of information is complete, current or applicable to your situation.

We may change, update or remove content at any time. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free of errors.

Using the website

When you use the website, please:

• give correct details when you contact us, and only send information about another person with their permission;
• not misuse the website, for example by trying to gain unauthorised access, sending spam or automated requests, or introducing malicious code;
• not copy content in bulk or use automated tools to collect content.

Reviews and patient stories

Reviews, testimonials and patient stories describe individual experiences. Reviews shown through the Trustpilot widget are published by Trustpilot under its own rules. They are not a promise that you will have the same experience or result.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including texts, photos, videos, graphics, logos and the MAYCLINIK name, belongs to MAYCLINIK or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, in particular copying, editing or republishing patient photos, needs our prior written permission.

Links to other websites

Our website links to, and shows content from, other services such as WhatsApp, Trustpilot, YouTube, Google Maps and social networks. We have no control over these services and are not responsible for their content or for how they handle data. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Liability

We provide the website free of charge and with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage that results from relying on the general information on the website, from the website being temporarily unavailable, or from the content of other websites.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, in particular liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection or product liability law. Liability in connection with treatment is governed by the separate treatment agreements and the applicable law.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction.

If you use the website as a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you normally live, and you may also bring a claim before the courts of that country where the law allows it.

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your visit applies. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed.
